Growing up, Zac Aynsley had been described as a “skinny kid”. Verbally bullied by his peers, Zac isolated himself, escaping into a world of video games for most of his childhood. But at the age of 15 when Zac decided to pursue DJing, an idea derived from his love for Trance, he bought a set of decks and practiced in his bedroom for countless hours each night. Practice makes perfect and Zac was given an opportunity to start DJing in his hometown. Spinning for free soon led to weekend gigs, larger clubs, which then opened a number of other opportunities. Zac’s confidence soared. He finally found a way to fit in. This high continued until returning home after a wild three months of the DJ / partying lifestyle in Kavos when Zac was struck with some difficult news about his health. At the age of 18, due to his current lifestyle, the doctor told him that he had a liver of a 50-year-old. If he didn’t stop partying it could lead to liver failure or worse. Zac knew he had to turn his life around and immediately began to change his lifestyle. He went to school and earned his foundation’s degree in photography. At the same time, he became a member at his local gym and started training to become a healthier person. This is where he found his passion and decided to become a fitness model and bodybuilder. Nothing made him feel better, more energized or healthier than training. Seeing this fire, Michael Anthony Downs (Florida based photographer) invited Zac to stay in Florida with him for 7 weeks to shoot, film, and ultimately jumpstart his career in the fitness and bodybuilding industry. After just one day of creating his fan page, he had well over 10,000 likes! He travelled to over 15 different countries, was featured in many magazines (such as Vogue), made over 10 TV appearances, has been on billboards across the globe, and had many online viral hits such as the most recent one, “Zac Aynsley Transformation” which has accumulated over 900,000 views in just 1 month of being on YouTube! It is safe to say that his time in the fitness industry thus far has been beyond outstanding. And it has just begun!
